1) singlespeed that can be ridden fixie or coaster;
2) beefy dropouts;
3) cantilever brakes and the ability to ride cyclocross tires up to 37mm;
4) simple single color scheme that looks money;
5) preferably steel frame but alum will do the trick;
6) all-in cost less than $1k if at all possible.
I have looked at Surly, Bianchi, Swobo, Cannondale, Felt, Salsa and a whole bunch others but I have not found anything that totally fits the bill.
Is the fully-built bike out there or do I need to just buy a frame and build something up???
